Output Shaft: Assembly

- 1.NOTE: Do not lubricate new roller bearings.
Lubricate all other transmission components with transmission fluid during reassembly.
Material: Motorcraft ® Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid / XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D2)
- 3.NOTE: Observe the markings on the selector ring.
Assemble the following items:
- 1.
Compression springs
- 2.
Blocker bars and detent balls
- 3.
Selector ring
- 1.
- 4.NOTE: Install the synchronizer hub assembly with the larger collar facing toward 2nd gear.
Install the 1st/2nd gear synchronizer assembly snap ring, install the 2nd gear bearing, synchronizer rings and 2nd gear.

Install 3rd gear. Use Special Service Tool: 308-052 (T77J-7025-B) Remover/Installer, Bearing Tube. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press

Install 4th gear. Use Special Service Tool: 308-052 (T77J-7025-B) Remover/Installer, Bearing Tube. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press
- 2.
Make sure 4th gear is installed on the output shaft far enough to install the snap ring.
- 1.
- 8.NOTE: Observe the markings on the selector ring.
Assemble the following items:
- 1.
Compression springs
- 2.
Blocker bars and detent balls
- 3.
Selector ring
- 1.
- 9.
Install the 5th/reverse synchronizer assembly and install the snap ring. Install the reverse gear bearing and install reverse gear.
- 10.NOTE: Press the bearing on by the inner race only.
Install the rear roller bearing. Do not lubricate the roller bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 205-D015 (D80L-630-4) Step Plate. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press
- 11.NOTE: Press the bearing on by the inner race only.
Install the front roller bearing. Do not lubricate the roller bearing. Use Special Service Tool: 205-D015 (D80L-630-4) Step Plate. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press
