Input Shaft: Assembly

1.

NOTE: Do not lubricate new roller bearings.

Lubricate all other transmission components with transmission fluid during reassembly.

Material: Motorcraft ® Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid / XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D2)

2.

NOTE: Observe the markings on the selector ring.

Assemble the following items:
- 1.
  
  Compression springs
- 2.
  
  Blocker bars and detent balls
- 3.
  
  Selector ring

3.

Install the needle bearing, the 2nd gear, the 3rd and 2nd gear synchronizer assembly.

4.

Install a new snap ring. Install the synchronizer ring, the needle bearing and the 3rd gear.

5.

NOTE: Use a tube to press the gear on.

Install the 4th gear. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press

6.

Install the following items:
1. Install a new snap ring.
2. Install a new bearing. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press

7.

NOTE: Using a tube, press the bearing on by the inner race only.

NOTE: The roller bearing must not be lubricated.

Install a new bearing. Use the General Equipment: Hydraulic Press
