The start/stop switch illumination is inoperative or always on (vehicles with Intelligent Access [IA])	REFER to the PINPOINT TESTS	GO to PINPOINT TEST F
The window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - without door modules (without window one-touch up)	Wiring, terminals or connectors Window control switch	VERIFY the operation of the power windows. If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to: FRONT DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . or REFER to: REAR DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . If the power windows do not operate correctly, REFER to: GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
The LH front window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - with door modules (with window one-touch up)	Window control switch	VERIFY the operation of the power windows. If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to: FRONT DOOR WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . If the power windows do not operate correctly, REFER to: GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
The RH front, RH rear or LH rear window control switch illumination is inoperative or always on - with door modules (with window one-touch up)	REFER to the PINPOINT TESTS	GO to PINPOINT TEST E
All dimmable non-networked illumination is inoperative (networked illumination functions correctly)	REFER to the PINPOINT TESTS	GO to PINPOINT TEST A

The IPC illumination is inoperative/does not dim	IPC	PERFORM a network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the IPC, REFER to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - SYSTEM OPERATION AND COMPONENT DESCRIPTION . If the scan tool communicates with the IPC , INSTALL a new IPC . REFER to: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
The ICM illumination is inoperative or always on	REFER to the PINPOINT TESTS	GO to PINPOINT TEST H
The FCIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim (base/premium)	REFER to the PINPOINT TESTS	GO to PINPOINT TEST I
The FCIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim (Sony® sound)	FCIM	CHECK for normal operation of the audio system. If the audio system operates correctly, INSTALL a new FCIM . REFER to: FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM) . If the audio system does not operate correctly, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .
The FCDIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	FCDIM	CHECK for normal operation of the audio system. If the audio system operates correctly, INSTALL a new FCDIM . If the audio system does not operate correctly, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD). or REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC).
The FDIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	APIM FDIM	VERIFY the audio system can be operated from the FDIM . If the audio system responds normally to FDIM inputs, Click here to access APIM HARDWARE TESTING . If the FDIM illumination still does not function correctly after the repair, INSTALL a new FDIM . REFER to: FRONT DISPLAY INTERFACE MODULE (FDIM) . If the audio system does not operate correctly from the FDIM inputs, REFER to: INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM .
The HVAC (with Dual Automatic Temperature Control [DATC]) illumination is inoperative/does not dim	HVAC module	PERFORM a network test. If the scan tool communicate with the HVAC module, INSTALL a new HVAC module. REFER to: HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) CONTROL MODULE . If the scan tool does not communicate with the HVAC module, REFER to: COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
