The DTE/average fuel economy display is inoperative	IPC	CHECK the operation of the speedometer, the fuel gauge and the odometer. If the speedometer, the fuel gauge or the odometer do not operate correctly, GO to PINPOINT TEST B (single sender L-shaped fuel tank), GO to PINPOINT TEST C (dual sender saddle-type fuel tank), GO to PINPOINT TEST F (speedometer) or GO to PINPOINT TEST H (odometer). If the speedometer, the fuel gauge and the odometer operate correctly, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
An engine oil change message is never displayed	Message center concern The PCM has not reached the programmed mileage/time based on the criteria required to display the message.	NOTE: Using the system check in the message center, verify that the oil life is between 1 and 5% for the ENGINE OIL CHANGE SOON message or at 0% for the OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message. OPEN then CLOSE the driver door and VERIFY the DRIVER DOOR AJAR warning functions correctly. If the DRIVER DOOR AJAR warning does not function correctly, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . If the DRIVER DOOR AJAR warning functions correctly with the oil life between 0-5%, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . If the DRIVER DOOR AJAR warning functions correctly with the oil life not at the specified value, INFORM the customer how the message center functions and how the oil life messages are set.

A load management message is always displayed	Charging/load management system concern	OPEN then CLOSE the driver door and VERIFY that the DRIVER DOOR AJAR message center warning and the IA system function correctly. If the DRIVER DOOR AJAR message center warning does not function correctly, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . If the DRIVER DOOR AJAR message center warning functions correctly, REFER to CHARGING SYSTEM to diagnose the charging/load management system.

The adaptive cruise control warning chime is inoperative	Cruise control system IPC	VERIFY the adaptive cruise control display functions in the message center when the adaptive cruise control is in operation. If the adaptive cruise control display functions correctly, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation. If the adaptive cruise control display does not operate, REFER to GO to Symptom Chart - Information And Message Center to diagnose the adaptive cruise control gap and speed settings are never displayed symptom.
The air bag secondary warning chime is inoperative/has activated	IPC	RETRIEVE the recorded DTCs from the IPC self-test. If IPC DTC P1534:01 is not present, the system is operating correctly. The air bag secondary warning chime sounds only when a fault in the air bag warning indicator is present and DTC P1534:01 is recorded. If IPC DTC P1534:01 is present, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
The Belt-Minder® feature does not operate correctly	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AS .
The BLIS®/CTA chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AM .
The door ajar warning chime is inoperative	Door ajar indication concern BCM IPC	VERIFY the safety belt warning chime operates for 6 seconds following ignition ON. If the safety belt warning chime sounds, GO to PINPOINT TEST AC to diagnose the door ajar message center warning indicator. If the safety belt warning chime does not sound, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
The headlamps on warning chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AN .
The key-in-ignition warning chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AO .
The lane keeping aid warning chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AP .
The lane keeping aid warning chime sounds with the hands on the steering wheel	Road conditions	Certain road conditions could lead to false activation of the chime. REFER to LANE DEPARTURE WARNING .
The memory-stored feedback chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AQ .
The message center warning chime is inoperative	IPC	DISCONNECT the brake fluid level switch and VERIFY that the message center warning chime sounds when the message center displays CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM. If the message center warning chime sounds when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, the system is operating correctly at this time. The message center warning chime only sounds when the message center displays a new warning message. If the message center warning chime does not sound when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
The parking brake warning chime is inoperative	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AR .
The perimeter alarm warning chime is inoperative	Perimeter alarm concern IPC	VERIFY the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime operates with the headlamps on, ignition OFF and the driver door open. If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime sounds, REFER to ANTI-THEFT - PERIMETER to diagnose the perimeter alarm. If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) . If the perimeter alarm does not operate correctly, REFER to ANTI-THEFT - PERIMETER .
The safety belt warning chime does not operate correctly	Refer to the Diagnostic Routine	GO to PINPOINT TEST AS .
The service AdvanceTrac® warning chime is inoperative	Stabilty-traction control indication concern IPC	VERIFY the headlamps on warning chime operates with the headlamps on, ignition OFF and the driver door open. If the headlamps on warning chime sounds, GO to PINPOINT TEST O to diagnose the stability-traction control indicator (sliding car icon).
