Selector Lever Knob: Removal

Vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 3.0L (4V) engine 

1. Remove the selector lever trim ring.

2. Remove the center console trim panel.

3. Disconnect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) or select switch electrical connector.

   All vehicles 

NOTE: TCS shown in illustration, select switch similar.

4. Slide the selector lever knob shroud downward to gain access to the 2 selector lever knob screws.
NOTE: It is necessary to route the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) harness or select switch harness out of the selector lever shroud when removing the selector lever knob.

5. Remove the 2 screws from the selector lever knob. Remove the selector lever knob and selector lever knob shroud.
