Selector Lever Bezel - Fusion: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Vehicles equipped with a 2.5L or 3.0L (4V) engine 

    NOTE: Be sure that the override lever is inserted in the override lever guide or the shift interlock override button will not work correctly.
    NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity.
  1. Install the selector lever bezel on the selector lever.
    • Position the override lever in the override lever guide.
    • Make sure that the 3 locking tabs are locked in place.

    Vehicles equipped with a 3.5L engine 

  2. NOTE: Selector lever removed for clarity.

  3. Install the selector lever bezel on the selector lever and be sure the 3 tabs are locked in place.

    All vehicles 

  4. Connect the selector lever bezel electrical connector.

  5. NOTE: It is necessary to route the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) harness or SelectShift™ switch harness out of the selector lever bezel when removing the selector lever knob.
    NOTE: TCS shown in illustration, SelectShift™ switch similar.

  6. Install the selector lever knob on the selector lever and install the screws.
  7. Slide the selector lever knob bezel up and install it on the selector lever knob.

    Vehicles equipped with 2.5L or 3.0L (4V) engine 

  8. Connect the TCS or SelectShift™ switch electrical connector.

    All vehicles 

  9. Position the utility tray in place and connect the electrical connector.

  10. Install the utility tray on the center console.

  11. Install the center console trim panel.

  12. Install the selector lever trim ring.
