Normal Operation

• DTC U0298:00 (Lost Communication With DC to DC Control Module "A": No Sub-Type Information) - sets in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) if data messages received from the DC to DC Converter Control Module (DC/DC) over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) are missing. For a complete list of all network messages, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• DC to DC Converter Control Module (DC/DC)
• IPC
