Removal And Installation

CAUTION: Prior to removal of the 4X4 control module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
  2. Open and lower the glove box compartment.
  3. Disconnect the connectors from the 4X4 control module.

  5. Remove 2 nuts and the 4X4 control module.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
