Removal And Installation

- Remove and discard the screws.
- To install, tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb-in).
- Remove the sun visor from the vehicle, then disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove and discard the sun visor gasket.
- If installing a new sun visor retaining screw or rivet nut, grind or drill the screw head and rivet nut flush.
- Punch the remaining rivet nut through the hole.
- Install a new rivet nut.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Installation of new sun visor gaskets is necessary when the sun visor has been removed.
CAUTION:
The sun visor gasket adhesive is extremely strong. Make sure to use adequate amount of force to remove the sun visor from the vehicle.

NOTE:
If the hole is out of specification, refer to Specifications in this article.
NOTE:
Installation of a new sun visor gasket is necessary when the sun visor has been removed.
NOTE:
Prior to installation, clean the sun visor and roof panel mating surfaces.
NOTE:
Make sure to wrap the electrical connector with anti-rattle tape before installing the sun visor.
