Camshaft Journal to Bearing Clearance - OHC Engines

NOTE: Refer to the appropriate ENGINE MECHANICAL - 3.5L GTDI or ENGINE MECHANICAL - 3.7L for the specification.
    NOTE: The camshaft journals must meet specifications before checking camshaft journal clearance.
  1. Measure each camshaft bearing in 2 directions.
    • Subtract the camshaft journal diameter from the camshaft bearing diameter.
