Normal Operation

• DTC U0242:00 (Lost Communication With Headlamp Control Module "B": No Sub-Type Information) - sets in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) if data messages received from the Headlamp Control Module 2 (HCM-2) over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN) are missing. This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• HCM-2
• IPC
