Pinpoint Test F: B1304:68

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.

F1 CHECK FOR RECORDED DTCs FROM BOTH THE CONTINUOUS AND ON-DEMAND PSCM SELF-TESTS
- Check for recorded PSCM DTCs from the continuous and on-demand self-tests.
- Are any PSCM DTCs recorded?
- Yes : REFER to STEERING SYSTEM - ELECTRONIC POWER ASSIST STEERING (EPAS) article. REPAIR all PSCM DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : GO to F2.
F2 CHECK FOR CORRECT PAM OPERATION
- Disconnect the PAM connector.
- Check for:
  - corrosion
  - damaged pins
  - pushed-out pins
- Connect the PAM connector and make sure it seats correctly.
- Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.
- Is the concern still present?
- Yes : INSTALL a new PAM. REFER to PARKING AID SYSTEM article. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
