Removal And Installation

- Remove the sun visors and sun visor attaching clips.
- Remove the A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel .
- Remove the front shoulder safety belt guide cover.
- Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
- Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
- Remove the shoulder safety belt guide nut.
- Remove the left and right B-pillar trim panels.
- Pull at the top of the B-pillar trim panel and work downward.
- If equipped, remove the screw and the overhead console.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the first row of pushpins fastening the front headliner.
- Pull the front headliner from underneath the front door opening weatherstrips.
- Disconnect the wire harness at the B-pillar.
- Remove the front headliner from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or it does not remain closed, install a new safety belt guide.
