Removal And Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
Disconnect the catalyst monitor sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the catalyst monitor sensor with lock lubricant to assist in removal.

Using the special tool, remove the catalyst monitor sensor.
- To install, tighten to 46 N.m (34 lb-ft).

NOTE: Apply anti-seize to the threads of the catalyst monitor sensor.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
