Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve hose.
  3. Disconnect the PCV valve electrical connector.
  4. NOTE: A new PCV valve must be installed if removed from the cam cover.
  5. Rotate to release and remove the PCV valve.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
