  1. Remove the door scuff plate trim panel.
  2. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel  in this article.
  3. Remove the cab rear trim panel.
  4. NOTE: If the safety belt guide cover is damaged or if it does not remain closed, install a new cover.

  5. Remove the front belt guide cover.
    • Release the retaining tabs and remove the cover.
  6. Remove the bolt and safety belt guide.

    • Use the Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolt.
      • To install, tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb-ft).
    • Remove the safety belt guide.
  7. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt.

    • Use the Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolt.
      • To install, tighten to 40 N.m (30 lb-ft).


  1. Remove the C-pillar trim panel pin-type retainers.

  2. Disconnect the radio speaker electrical connector.
  3. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
    • Feed the safety belt webbing through the quarter trim panel.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
