The parking lamp relay is integral to the smart junction box (SJB). When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARKING LAMPS ON position, the voltage is routed to the SJB through circuit CLS30 (VT/WH). When the parking lamp relay coil is energized, voltage is routed to the parking lamps through circuit CLS34 (GY), the trailer tow connector through circuit CBP20 (GN) and the instrument panel dimmer switch through circuit CBP01 (BU).
Possible Causes
- Circuit CLS30 (VT/WH) short to voltage
- Circuit CLS34 (GY) short to voltage
- Circuit CBP20 (GN) short to voltage
- Circuit CBP01 (BU) short to voltage
- Headlamp switch
- SJB
