Normal Operation
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Ford Ranger. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Under normal operation, voltage is supplied to the accessory relay coil and switch internally through the smart junction box (SJB). Ground for the accessory relay is provided internally through the SJB. When the relay is energized, voltage is sent to the power window switches through circuit CPW30 (GY/YE) or CPW14 (VT/WH).
Possible Causes
- A short to voltage in circuit CPW30 (GY/YE) or CPW14 (VT/WH)
- Smart junction box (SJB)
- Accessory relay
