Removal And Installation

    NOTE: The window must be in the raised position.
  1. Remove the exterior door handle. For additional information, refer to Exterior Rear Door Handle - Crew Cab .

  3. Release the lock linkage guide clip from the rear door.
  4. Release the clip and disconnect the door lock actuating rod from the latch.

  6. Release the clip.
  7. Remove the 3 screws and position the rear door latch aside.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

  9. Remove the rear door latch actuating cable water seal.
  10. Disconnect the actuating cable and conduit.
  11. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors and remove the rear door latch.
  12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
