Pinpoint Test A: Antenna Not Connected

- A1 INSPECT PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) ANTENNA FOR CORRECT INSTALLATION OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE
- Key in OFF position.
- Verify the PATS transceiver is correctly installed. Refer to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER .
- Connect the diagnostic tool.
- Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: CLEAR the DTCs.
- Key in START position.
- Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: RETRIEVE DTCs.
- Retrieve the PCM continuous DTCs.
- Is DTC B2103 retrieved?
Yes : INSTALL a new PATS transceiver. REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
No : The system is OK.
