Pinpoint Test E: The Washer Fluid Level Low Warning Is Inoperative/Always On

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lincoln MKX and 2007 Ford Edge. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
  1. E1 DETERMINE THE CONDITION
NOTE: Verify that the washer fluid reservoir is full and that the key has been cycled at least once prior to carrying out the pinpoint test.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Does the LOW WASHER FLUID LEVEL warning illuminate?
    1. YES  : Go to  E5.
    2. NO  : Go to  E2.
  2. E2 CHECK THE LOW WASHER FLUID INDICATOR OPERATION
    • Key in OFF position.
