Removal And Installation

- Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch .
- Remove the 3 hood latch release handle cable locators.
- Remove the 2 hood latch release handle screws.
- To install, tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
- Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The hood latch release handle and cable assembly must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.
