Normal Operation

Based on input received from the instrument panel dimmer switch, the Smart Junction Box (SJB) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) voltage to the hardwired dimmable illumination sources through circuit VLN37 (BU/WH). Ground is provided through circuits GD114 (BK/BU), RPK35 (GY/YE), and GD116 (BK/VT).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following: 

• Wiring, terminals or connectors
• Floor shifter
• Headlamp switch
• Luggage compartment lid release switch
• Rear sun shade switch (if equipped)
• Rear heated seat switches (if equipped)
• Start/stop switch (if equipped)
