Pinpoint Test F: The Memory Set Switch Illumination Is Inoperative

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
  1. F1 CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE MEMORY SET SWITCH 
    • Operate the memory seats from the switch.
    • Do the memory seats operate? 

    Result/Action to Take 

    • Yes:  GO to F2  .
    • No:  REFER to SEATING .
  2. F2 CHECK CIRCUIT CBB38 (GY/BU) FOR VOLTAGE 
    • Ignition OFF.
    • Disconnect: Memory Set Switch C503.
    • Ignition ON.
    • Measure the voltage between the memory set switch C503-3, circuit CBB38 (GY/BU), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes:  INSTALL a new memory set switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No:  REPAIR the circuit for an open.
