Pinpoint Test Ax: No Communication With The Parking Aid Module

AX1 CHECK CIRCUIT 1040 (RD/BK) FOR VOLTAGE

Key in OFF position.
Disconnect: Parking Aid Module C4014.
Key in ON position.
Measure the voltage between the parking aid module C4014-1, circuit 1040 (RD/BK), harness side and ground.

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?

Yes

GO to AX2

REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.

AX2 CHECK CIRCUIT 1205 (BK) FOR OPEN

Key in OFF position.
Measure the resistance between the parking aid module C4014-3, circuit 1205 (BK), harness side and ground.

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes

REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continued communication diagnostics.

REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
