Removal and Installation

All Vehicles 

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. For additional information, refer to GENERATORS & REGULATORS .

    Vehicles With Cruise Control 

  2. Disconnect the brake pressure switch.

    All Vehicles 

  3. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch.

  4. Disconnect the brake lines and plug the master cylinder ports.

  5. Remove the to nuts and the brake master cylinder.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
