Item 7: Instrument cluster Installation Note

  1. CAUTION:  To avoid damage to the instrument cluster lens, place a protective cloth overt the upper steering column before installing the instrument cluster.
    CAUTION: Once the new module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module. For additional information, Refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .

    Following installation of the instrument cluster, carry out the PARAMETER RESET AND KEY PROGRAMMING  procedure.
