Normal Operation

Vehicle odometer information is sent to the instrument cluster from the anti-lock brake system/traction control/integrated vehicle dynamics (ABS/TC/IVD). ABS/TC or ABS module over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network, circuits 4-EG8 (GY/VT) and 5-EG8 (BU/WH). DTC U1123 will be logged if the instrument cluster fails to receive the odometer rolling count status from the ABS/TC/IVD, ABS/TC or ABS module. The instrument cluster DTC B2143 will be logged if the instrument cluster detects a nonvolatile memory (NVM) failure.
