Pinpoint Test A: DTC P0442 Small Leak in EVAP System [as small as 1 mm (0.040 in)], DTC P0456 Very Small Leak in EVAP System [as small as 0.5 mm (0.020 in)] or DTC P0457 Missing or Leaking Fuel Filler Cap

Possible Causes 

• DTC P0442, P0456 or P0457 can be generated by:
  • Loose or missing fuel filler cap.
  • Loose or damaged connections to fuel vapor hoses, tubes or connections.
