Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

CAUTION:
Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage to the modules may result.
- Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
- Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Following installation of the new instrument cluster, download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module. For additional information, refer to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
