  • Central junction box (CJB) fuse(s):
    • 15 (5A).
    • 30 (5A).

  • UART based protocol (UBP) communication network.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST G  .
Incorrect fuel gauge indication
  • Circuitry.
  • Fuel pump module.
  • Fuel level sensor.
  • Fuel tank.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST H .
Incorrect engine coolant temperature gauge indication
  • Circuitry.
  • Cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST I .
The speedometer/odometer is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).

The tachometer is inoperative

 REPAIR the ABS indicator. REFER to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL .
The brake warning indicator is never/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Brake fluid level switch.
  • Parking brake switch.
  • Anti-lock brake system (ABS) module.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST N .
The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is never on
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST O .
The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is always on
  • Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) related concern(s).
 REPAIR the MIL indicator. REFER to SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CNG, FLEX-FUEL & GASOLINE .
The charging system warning indicator is never on
  • Charging system.
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST P .
The charging system warning indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Generator (charging system).
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 REPAIR the charging system. REFER to BATTERY & CHARGING SYSTEM .
The air bag indicator warning is never/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Restraint control module (RCM).

 Go To PINPOINT TEST Q .
The high beam indicator is never on
  • High beam indicator bulb.
