Heated Oxygen Sensor Monitor: Testing
When one of the HO2S tests is chosen and "Trigger" is pressed, NGS will display a screen that provides HO2S test results. See Fig 1. Test results are from the most recent OBD-II drive cycle monitoring of HO2S. Test results will be updated each time a monitoring session occurs. The monitor within PCM compares certain PIDs to stored parameters and provides "Pass" or "Fail" information.
