Test M: High Beam Warning Never/Always On

Turn headlights on. Place multifunction switch in high beam position. If high beam are on, go to next step. If high beam are not on, repair headlight high beam concern. See AUTOLAMP SYSTEMS - CONTINENTAL article.
Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using NGS tester, select Lighting Control Module (LCM) active command HIGHBEAM. Trigger HIGHBEAM on. If high beam warning light is on, replace LCM. If high beam warning light is not on, replace Virtual Image Cluster (VIC).
