Test Av: Single Dash Light Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect inoperative light harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn headlights on. Turn panel dimmer switch to maximum position. Measure voltage at power supply terminal at inoperative light/component harness connector. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in wiring as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Measure resistance between ground and ground terminal at inoperative light/component harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace bulb or component as necessary. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in ground circuit.
