Test Ai: Turn Signal Warning Chime Does Not Operate Properly

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Operate turn signals. If turn signals operate properly, go to next step. If turn signals do not operate properly, repair turn signal concern. See AUTOLAMP SYSTEMS - CONTINENTAL article.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using NGS tester, retrieve and document Lighting Control Module DTCs. If DTC U1123 is not retrieved, replace LCM. If DTC U1123 is retrieved, repair anti-lock brake system concern. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES.
