Test P: DECKLID Ajar Circuit Short To Ground
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure all doors are fully closed. Using NGS tester, perform Lighting Control Module (LCM) self-test. If DTC B1334 exists, go to next step. If DTC B1334 does not exist, perform appropriate test. - Using NGS tester, monitor PID DECKLID. If PID indicates AJAR, repair short to ground in Brown/White wire or replace trunk ajar switch as necessary. If PID does not indicate AJAR, replace LCM.
