Test Ah: Trunk Lid Ajar Chime Does Not Operate Properly

  1. Close trunk lid. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If trunk lid ajar light is illuminated, go to next step. If trunk lid ajar light is not illuminated, repair open in Brown/White wire.
  2. Disconnect all LCM harness connectors. Inspect for corrosion and pushed out pins. Reconnect all LCM harness connectors, ensuring they are connected correctly. Operate system to verify if concern is still present. If concern is still present, replace LCM. If concern is not present, system is operating correctly at this time. Clear DTCs and repeat LCM self-test.
