DTC B1342: Ecu Defective

Connect NGS tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Clear all Hybrid Electronic Instrument Cluster (HEIC) trouble codes. Perform HEIC self-test. If DTC B1342 is present, replace HEIC and retest system. If other DTCs are present, repair as necessary and retest system. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.
