Test Equipment

The following test equipment is recommended to perform all tests on air suspension system. DO NOT attempt to test this system without proper equipment. Damage to vehicle components may result if improper equipment is used.

New Generation Star (007-00500) tester or equivalent.
Digital Volt-Ohmmeter.
Fabricate a jumper wire with an in-line fuse rated at not more than 5 amps.
0-200 psi (0-14.1 kg/cm² ) air pressure gauge.

CAUTION: Improper or careless probing of any harness connector will damage connector terminals and cause intermittent malfunctions. When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
