Function Test Procedure

  1. Locate air suspension service switch on left side of trunk, and turn switch to OFF position. Connect battery charger to vehicle during testing as compressor operation may deplete battery power.
  2. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester or equivalent to diagnostic connector located on the front of right front shock tower. Ensure both doors are closed.
  3. Codes for various Function Tests will be displayed on scan tool menu. See NGS FUNCTION TEST INDEX  table for function test description. Select FUNCTION TESTS from scan tool menu. Turn ignition on.
  4. Select and perform function test 211. Record displayed DTCs. Perform function test 228 to clear air suspension/EVO control module memory. Scroll through scan tool menu to desired test and press trigger on NGS tester to begin test.
