Removal (Rear)

  1. Turn air suspension off, and set parking brake. Raise vehicle, and remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove knuckle and hub assembly. See KNUCKLE/HUB ASSEMBLY (REAR) . Secure knuckle and hub assembly in vise.
  2. Using 3 Jaw Puller (D88L-1037-A) and Step Plate (D80L-630-5) on knuckle, press hub from bearing/knuckle assembly. See Fig 1.
  3. With hub removed, remove brake backing plate and bearing retainer snap ring. Remove bearing using a press and Hub Support (T89P-1104-A) and Bearing Remover Adapter (T83P-1104-AH2). See Fig 2.
