Upper Control Arm: Installation
- Install new control arm bushing bolts without flags and nuts. Position upper control arm horizontally and tighten control arm bushing bolts to 56-88 ft. lbs. (75-119 N.m).
- Attach spindle to upper control arm, and tighten new pinch bolt to 50-68 ft. lbs. (68-92 N.m). Turn air suspension on. Install wheel and tire assembly.
Install upper control arm with bolts and nuts loose. Inner pivot bolt is used for rear camber adjustments and is shaped differently than outer bolt. Install wheel and tire assembly. Position vehicle on alignment rack. Tighten outer bolt and nut to 116-142 ft. lbs. (157-193 N.m). Set camber and tighten inner pivot bolt and nut to 50-68 ft. lbs. (68-92 N.m). Turn air suspension on.
