Removal (Front)

  1. Turn air suspension off. Raise vehicle. See REPAIR PRECAUTIONS . Remove front tire and wheel assemblies. Remove stabilizer link nuts. Using Joint Separator-Stabilizer Bar Link (D88L-3006-A), remove links from spindle and stabilizer bar. Lower vehicle.
  2. Remove air inlet tube. Remove stabilizer bar brackets. Remove serpentine drive belt. Raise vehicle. Remove crankshaft vibration damper bolt and washer. Using Crankshaft Damper Remover (T58P-6316-D), remove crankshaft vibration damper. Remove tie rod ends from spindles using Tie Rod End Remover (TOOL-3290-D). Remove transmission oil cooler line bracket. Remove stabilizer bar through right wheel opening. Remove stabilizer bar bushings from stabilizer bar by sliding over end of bar. See Figure.
