Removal (Air Compressor)

  1. Turn air suspension off. Air compressor is located ahead of right front wheel. See Figure. Remove 2 front screws retaining air compressor and air drier to bracket.
  2. NOTE: Compressor relay and air lines can be accessed by disassembling and bending back forward section of right front fender apron.
  3. Raise vehicle on hoist. Suspension must be in full rebound. Remove right front wheel. Remove right inner fender splash shield.
  4. Remove fuel evaporation carbon canister. Remove 2 screws at rear of compressor bracket assembly. Disconnect electrical connection at front face of compressor bracket. Disconnect solid state relay connector. Disconnect 4 air lines from compressor drier. See AIR LINES . Disconnect wiring harness and left front air line clip from rear of compressor bracket. Remove 2 lower compressor bracket retaining screws and compressor.
