Height Sensors

Height sensors determine whether or not vehicle height is within predetermined limits. Height sensors are located parallel to front wheels and left rear wheel. Air suspension control module supplies power and ground to sensors and monitors sensor signal. Sensors send a continuous voltage signal to control module relative to positions of wheel and body. Control module uses sensors to monitor 3 conditions: vehicle at trim height, vehicle above trim height or vehicle below trim height. Air suspension leveling system operates by adding or removing air to each individual air spring to maintain vehicle (trim) height.
