Test Equipment

The following test equipment is recommended to perform all tests on air suspension system. DO NOT attempt to test this system without proper equipment. Damage to vehicle components may result if improper equipment is used.

New Generation Star (NGS) (007-00500) Tester Or An Equivalent
60-Pin Breakout Box (007-00033)
OBD-II Data Link Connector (DLC) Adapter Cable
Appropriate NGS Program Card
Digital Volt Ohmmeter (DVOM)

CAUTION: Improper or careless probing of any harness connector will damage connector terminals and will cause intermittent malfunctions. Connect battery charger to power vehicle during testing.

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
