Air Line Quick-Connect Fittings

  1. If a leak is detected in any of the quick connect fittings, repair can be made using Repair Kit (5B321). Outer housing of fitting cannot be serviced. Disconnect air line by pushing inward on air line, depress release ring and pull air line from air spring solenoid. To remove collet and "O" ring, insert a scrap piece of air line into collet. Grasp air line firmly (DO NOT  use pliers) and pull collet out by hand. DO NOT  use release ring. Remove "O" ring. See Fig 1 .
  2. Ensure seal area is free of dirt and install NEW "O" ring in fitting housing. Install NEW collet (prongs first) using finger pressure. Install release ring and line.
