Tension Strut: Removal

  1. Turn air suspension switch, located in left side of trunk, to OFF position. See Figure or Figure . Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove and discard tension strut-to-spindle nut.
  2. Note direction of bushings and washers for installation reference. Remove plug covering tension strut access hole. Remove tension strut-to-body nut and bolt. Remove tension strut, washers and bushings.
