Removal & Installation (Air System & Electrical): Notes

CAUTION: Failure to deflate air spring before servicing suspension can lead to component damage. Air spring should always be deflated when the following parts are serviced: lower control arm, steering knuckle, air spring, strut/shock or axle shafts. If in doubt, deflate air spring before service.

CAUTION: Manufacturer recommends using NEW suspension fasteners whenever old fasteners are loosened or removed. When repair procedure requires air suspension to be turned off and vehicle raised on a hoist, DO NOT turn air suspension on until repair is complete, vehicle is lowered and vehicle weight exists on all wheels.
