Wiggle Test

Wiggle test is designed to help identify and locate intermittent failures in vehicle wiring harness and system components. When wiggle test is activated, several inputs and outputs of vehicle dynamics module are monitored for change of state. When a change is detected, an audible tone can be heard, and a counter, displayed on New Generation Star (NGS) tester, will increment. By tapping, moving and wiggling suspect wiring harness area, open and short circuits can be located.
